Angelo Threats - President

Angelo Threats is a dedicated Police officer for the Buffalo Police Department of 24+years, with 13 of those years as a Community Police Officer. He enjoys working with people and coming to resolutions that prove to be beneficial for the neighborhood and community. He believes in motivating individuals by getting involved personally and putting in the hard work that’s needed to make a change.

Currently as the president of the Afro-American Police Association, which is community based, he always looks for ways to better improve the organization, members, and advancement for the overall betterment for the community.

He has been working actively as a recruiter for the Buffalo Police Department as well as an instructor for the Erie County Police Academy. As an instructor his focus is on training the new recruits on various topics to include Community Policing, Cultural Diversity, Bias Policing etc. He was able to develop a preparatory agility program for potential recruits.

Throughout his life and career, he has had the opportunity of working with youth in all aspects of life, utilizing sports as a means of discipline, teamwork, and setting the groundwork for life.

He enjoys working with the community and seeing people improve their way of life. He was the President /coach for a little league football organization, and coached little league and high school football as well as high school track. He is always available to offer mentoring to young men and women in the community.

In his spare time he enjoys bike riding, weightlifting and renovating properties
